Overview

Aman Tokyo

Aman Tokyo occupies the upper floors of the Otemachi Tower, and the arrival is the thing people remember: a vast, quiet lobby finished in wood, stone and washi paper, with the city held behind floor-to-ceiling glass. The rooms borrow from the ryokan rather than the international hotel — shoji screens, and a stone furo bath set by the window. The spa is among the largest in Tokyo and includes onsen-style baths and a thirty-metre pool with the skyline along one side. Practically, the tower sits directly above Otemachi station, where five subway lines meet, with Tokyo Station and the national rail network a short walk beyond it.
