When Is Your Egypt?
Comfortable temperatures for sightseeing and Nile cruises. Peak season — book ahead over Christmas and New Year.
Warm, quieter and good value, either side of the peak.
Very hot inland (Luxor/Aswan can exceed 40°C) — best for the Red Sea, and cheapest for the sights if you start early.

Egypt Visa — What You Need to Know
Apply for the Egypt e-Visa on the official portal (visa2egypt.gov.eg) at least seven days before departure. A visa on arrival is not the standard route for Indian passports: it has been available only in limited cases, such as to holders of certain valid US, UK or Schengen visas, and is applied inconsistently at the airport — do not plan a trip around it.

Visa regulations may change without prior notice. Travellers should verify the latest requirements with the Egyptian embassy or the official Egypt e-Visa portal before travel.
