Italy
Renaissance cities, Amalfi coast, Tuscan hills and the finest food and art in Europe — Rome, Florence, Venice and beyond.
Where Every City Is
a Masterpiece
Italy is the trip that has everything: the ruins of Rome, the Renaissance of Florence, the impossible romance of Venice, the drama of the Amalfi Coast, and food that changes from one town to the next. No European country packs so much wonder into so short a distance.
For Indian travellers it is the crown jewel of a Europe holiday — honeymoon, family or first-timer, Italy delivers. Fast trains link the great cities effortlessly, and it pairs beautifully with Switzerland or France for a grand tour.
Explore Italy
by Region
Italy's regions each feel like a country of their own — most first trips string together three or four by fast train.

Italy Visa — What You Need to Know
Indian passport holders require a Schengen visa (Type C) to visit Italy, applied for before travel through the Italian mission's authorised visa service, subject to Schengen requirements.
Italy is part of the Schengen Area. Indian travellers apply for a short-stay Schengen visa in advance, typically through VFS Global on behalf of the Italian Embassy/Consulate, with confirmed flights, accommodation, insurance and financial documents.
Reviewed against current Schengen policy. Indian passport holders require a Schengen visa (Type C) applied for in advance; apply where Italy is your main destination.
Visa regulations may change without prior notice. Travellers should verify the latest requirements with the Italian embassy/consulate or the official VFS Global Italy visa service before travel.
Meeting every published requirement does not guarantee that a visa is issued. Each application is assessed on its own merits by the relevant authority, which may request further documents or refuse an application without giving reasons. Live Traveller can prepare and check your documentation, but no agent or operator can promise an outcome — and you should treat anyone who does with caution. Book refundable arrangements until your visa is in hand.
For all Italy journeys we design, we prepare your complete visa documentation package — the forms, the supporting documents, the sequence of submission. Our visa specialists help travellers prepare complete applications with careful document guidance. Final visa decisions always remain with the relevant authorities.
