Centrum Air starts Hyderabad–Tashkent flights: two a week, with connections across Central Asia
Uzbekistan’s Centrum Air is due to begin twice-weekly Tashkent–Hyderabad flights on 28 September, its second Indian city after Delhi. Schedule, aircraft and what Indians need for Uzbekistan.
The new route
Uzbekistan’s Centrum Air is scheduled to begin twice-weekly flights between Tashkent and Hyderabad on 28 September 2026, making Hyderabad its second Indian gateway after Delhi, Travel Trade Journal reported. The first service is due to leave Tashkent on the evening of Monday 28 September and land in Hyderabad in the early hours of Tuesday 29 September; the first departure from Hyderabad is on Tuesday.
With the new route the airline will operate seven weekly flights from India — five from Delhi and two from Hyderabad — according to BW Travel, which reported the airline’s launch event for the route in Hyderabad.
Days, times and aircraft
From Tashkent: flight C6 551 on Mondays and Thursdays, arriving in Hyderabad at 2.20am the next day. From Hyderabad: flight C6 552 on Tuesdays and Fridays, departing at 3.35am and arriving in Tashkent at 7.45am. Times are local. Published listings differ by half an hour on the Tashkent departure time, so check the time on your booking.
Travel Trade Journal reports the route will be flown with an Airbus A320neo. The airline’s schedule filing, as reported by AeroRoutes, shows a mix of A320ceo and A320neo aircraft from 15 October.
Tickets are sold through Centrum Air and through travel agents, which see the flights on the Amadeus and Glid distribution systems, according to Travel Trade Journal. We did not find published fares.
Onward connections
Centrum Air presents the route as more than a flight to Uzbekistan: it offers onward connections through its Tashkent hub to Central Asia, the CIS countries, the Middle East and Europe. The airline’s chief executive told Travel Trade Journal the route targets tourism, students, travellers visiting friends and relatives, and onward international travel. Check the minimum connection time and whether your bags are checked through when booking a connection.
Do Indians need a visa for Uzbekistan?
In most cases, yes. Uzbekistan’s visa-free entry for Indians, in force since 1 September 2026, applies only to travellers who hold a valid multiple-entry visa from one of eight countries and an onward ticket, and allows 30 days.
