Saudi Arabia opens a package-only visa route to Indian travellers

A ministry-licensed platform now issues a Saudi visa bundled with a booked return flight and a four-star-or-better hotel, for stays of two to 90 days, at SAR 402.21 including insurance.

What is on offer

Webook.com, described as licensed by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Tourism, has gone live with the Saudi Package Visa, and Indian citizens are among the seven nationalities eligible. The others named are Egypt, Jordan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Mexico. The route operates under a Package Visa pilot introduced in July 2026 by the Ministry of Tourism with the Saudi Tourism Authority.

The terms as published: stays run from two to 90 days; the visa and health insurance fee is SAR 402.21; the package must include a confirmed round-trip flight and a Ministry-licensed hotel rated four stars or higher; the minimum package value is SAR 4,000; bookings must be completed at least 48 hours before departure; and one application can cover up to nine adults and five minors.

Why this matters for Indian travellers

Saudi Arabia’s existing tourist routes — the eVisa and visa on arrival — are open to Indians who already hold a US, UK or Schengen visa, or GCC residency. Anyone without one of those has had a harder path. This is a route that does not depend on holding another country’s visa at all: it depends on booking a qualifying package.

The trade-off is that you cannot use it for an independent, budget or last-minute trip. A four-star-or-better licensed hotel, a confirmed return flight, a SAR 4,000 floor and a 48-hour cut-off are all hard requirements. For a family or a small group the single-application allowance — up to nine adults and five minors — is the practical advantage.

This is a commercial platform launching under a government scheme rather than a decree, and we could not open a Ministry page confirming the terms. Verify the current conditions on the platform itself before paying.
