Two Rajasthan safari stays due to open in October: Cheetahgarh in Jawai and Vojara near Ranthambore
A 20-key resort beside Rotela Lake in Jawai’s leopard country and a 10-suite safari lodge near Ranthambore National Park are due to open in October 2026. What each offers, and what to check.

Two new places to stay are due to open in Rajasthan’s wildlife country in October 2026: Bookmark Resorts Cheetahgarh in Jawai, known for leopards living among granite hills, and Vojara, a safari lodge near Ranthambore National Park. Both are described here as OPENING SOON: neither property’s own website gives an opening date, and we have not seen evidence that either is already receiving guests.
Bookmark Resorts Cheetahgarh, Jawai
Bookmark Resorts, run by Onora Hospitality, announced that Cheetahgarh (spelt Cheetagarh in its launch coverage) will open on 1 October 2026 as a 20-key retreat, Today’s Traveller reported on 7 September. The resort’s own website describes a 20-acre property beside Rotela Lake near Bera, in Pali district, surrounded by the Aravalli hills.
Its website lists chalets with a garden view or a private pool (550 sq ft), lake-view villas (700 sq ft) and a two-bedroom Khema luxury tent (1,200 sq ft), with a swimming pool; launch coverage adds a spa, the all-day Rotela Café and a waterside grill overlooking the lake. Listed experiences include private jeep safaris in search of leopards with local trackers, birdwatching around Jawai Dam, Rabari village walks and temple visits. Reservations: 9089 777 000.
Vojara, Ranthambore
Vojara is a lodge founded by wildlife photographer and entrepreneur Arjun Anand, due to open in October 2026 according to its launch announcement, as reported by BW Travel. It is in Bhadlao village, near Ranthambore National Park.
The lodge’s own website describes eight suites and two Grand suites, each stay with a dedicated private butler, safaris and experiences in and around the park, and flexible dining. BW Travel adds that the suites range from 700 to 2,300 sq ft, that the four-acre site has more than 100 native trees and plants, a natural water body and rainwater harvesting, and that the lodge has a pool, a two-room spa and The Outpost, a gallery offering photography guidance.
