Philippine Airlines plans Manila–Delhi and Manila–Mumbai nonstops from December, subject to Indian approval
PAL says it plans nonstop flights from Manila to Delhi three times a week and to Mumbai four times a week from December 2026, if the Indian government approves. Not yet a confirmed launch.
What Philippine Airlines has announced
Philippine Airlines (PAL) said on 25 September 2026 that it plans to start nonstop flights from Manila to Delhi and to Mumbai in December 2026, subject to approval from the Government of India, the Manila Times reported. PAL has not given a start date, and none of the reports we read says tickets are on sale. Until approval is announced, treat this as a plan, not a confirmed launch.
“Opening services to Delhi and Mumbai will strengthen our network in one of Asia’s most dynamic economies,” PAL president Richard Nuttall said.
The planned schedule
Delhi, three flights a week: PR642 leaves Manila at 10.40pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and arrives in Delhi at 3am the next day; PR643 leaves Delhi at 8.15am on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and arrives in Manila at 5pm.
Mumbai, four flights a week: PR646 leaves Manila at 10.40pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays and arrives in Mumbai at 3.05am the next day; PR647 leaves Mumbai at 7.15am on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and arrives in Manila at 5pm. All times are local.
Both routes are planned with PAL’s Airbus A321neo, which seats 168: 12 in lie-flat business class and 156 in economy. Travel Trade Journal reports that meals will include Indian-inspired, vegetarian and Jain options.
Beyond Manila
PAL is pitching the routes partly as a link between India and Australia. Travel Weekly reports that the flights would connect through Manila with PAL’s services to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, and give Indian travellers onward connections to Los Angeles and Vancouver as well. Check connection times and whether bags are checked through before relying on a connection.
