Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park
Genting SkyWorlds is the outdoor theme park at Resorts World Genting, the hilltop resort in Genting Highlands, Pahang. It is not in Kuala Lumpur; visitors come up by road and cable car. The park is divided into nine themed worlds, among them Ice Age, Rio, Epic and Robots Rivet Town. Rides can be reserved through a virtual queue, and the park publishes a rolling list of rides closed for maintenance. It is closed on Tuesdays except on Malaysian public and school holidays.

Up to the hilltop
The park is at the top of the hill, at Resorts World Genting.
From the mid-hill stations
- Awana SkyWay runs from Sky Sentral to SkyAvenue at the resort, taking about 10 minutes.
- Genting SkyWay runs from Gohtong Sentral Station to Resorts World Station in about 15 minutes.
- Resorts World Tours express buses run from KL Sentral and Gombak to Sky Sentral.

Check three things on the official site before fixing the date: the calendar, the maintenance list and the cable car notice.

- Listed hours are 10am to 6pm daily; closed every Tuesday except Malaysian national public holidays and school holidays.
- Guests of Resorts World Genting and Resorts World Awana hotels are admitted from 9.30am.
- A virtual queue (VQ) lets visitors reserve a time for rides.
- The scheduled-maintenance page lists rides that are temporarily closed; it changes often.
Live Traveller's advice
- Suits families and theme-park fans; it needs a full day, so it works best with a night at Genting.
- The park is outdoors at altitude, so carry a light jacket and rain cover.
- Avoid a Tuesday unless it is a Malaysian holiday.
At Genting Highlands
The cable cars are the usual way up to the park; Chin Swee Caves Temple is a stop on the Awana SkyWay.
