Mysuru Dasara 2026: Gold Cards and Jumboo Savari tickets are on sale, now with numbered seats
Mysuru Dasara runs 11–21 October with the Jumboo Savari on 21 October. Gold Cards cost ₹6,961 with charges, and every Gold Card and Jumboo Savari seat is numbered for the first time.
Dates and booking
Mysuru Dasara 2026 will be held from 11 to 21 October, with the Jumboo Savari elephant procession on 21 October. The Mysuru district administration opened online booking for Gold Cards and tickets to the main events at 11.30am on 21 September, through the official Dasara portal, Star of Mysore and News Karnataka reported. Base prices are unchanged from last year.
The change this year is that every Gold Card and Jumboo Savari ticket carries a printed seat number, a measure the administration says is meant to stop people occupying seats that are not theirs.
What the tickets cost
Gold Card: ₹6,500 plus ₹460.20 in charges and GST, ₹6,961 in total. Jumboo Savari: ₹3,500 plus ₹330.40, ₹3,831. Torchlight Parade: ₹1,500 plus ₹141.60, ₹1,642. Drone Show: ₹1,000 plus ₹94.40, ₹1,095.
The Gold Card covers a seat for the Jumboo Savari at its starting point at Mysuru Palace, the Torchlight Parade at the Bannimantap parade grounds and the Drone Show, plus entry to Mysuru Palace, Chamundi Hill and Mysuru Zoo, according to Star of Mysore.
Collecting your ticket
Online booking does not give you an e-ticket to show at the gate. Physical tickets must be collected from the “Spandhana” counter at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Mysuru, on showing the booking confirmation (email or mobile) and a government-issued photo ID.
