KL Bird Park
A walk-in, free-flight aviary in Kuala Lumpur's Lake Gardens.
KL Bird Park
KL Bird Park is a walk-in aviary in the Kuala Lumpur Lake Gardens (Taman Tasik Perdana), about ten minutes' drive from the city centre according to the park. It keeps more than 3,000 local and foreign birds of about 200 species. Its main idea is free flight: in three of its four zones the birds move loose inside a large netted enclosure planted to resemble their habitat, and visitors walk among them. The fourth zone is an open area with parrots, ostriches and the bird-show amphitheatre.
