Petronas Twin Towers
The twin 452-metre towers that define Kuala Lumpur's skyline, with a Skybridge and an observation deck on level 86.
Petronas Twin Towers
The Petronas Twin Towers are a pair of 88-storey towers, 452 metres tall, in the KLCC district of Kuala Lumpur. Designed by the architect César Pelli and opened on 1 August 1999, they were the world's tallest buildings from 1998 to 2004 and remain the tallest twin towers. Each floor plan is based on two interlocking squares that form an eight-pointed star, a form drawn from Islamic geometry. The paid visit is timed and takes in the Skybridge that links the two towers and the observation deck on level 86.

What the visit covers
The ticketed visit has two stops inside the towers.
Inside the towers
- The Skybridge: a two-level bridge on levels 41 and 42, 170 metres above the ground and 58.4 metres long.
- The observation deck on level 86, more than 370 metres up, with views across the city.
- The bridge is not rigidly fixed to the towers, which lets them move in the wind.
From the ground
- KLCC Park, a 50-acre park in the KLCC precinct at the foot of the towers, with a playground, wading pool and jogging track.
- The star-shaped floor plan, based on two interlocking squares, is easiest to read from outside.
