Met at Heathrow and driven into the city. A gentle first afternoon on the South Bank, Westminster Bridge at dusk, and dinner near the hotel. Overnight in London.
The Tower of London at opening for the Crown Jewels, the river boat to Westminster, and a guided walk past the Abbey, Whitehall and Buckingham Palace. The sightseeing bus for the rest of the afternoon. Overnight in London.
The British Museum and Covent Garden, the London Eye, or Windsor Castle as a day out; the Harry Potter studio tour for families who booked ahead. A West End show in the evening if you like. Overnight in London.
A private transfer to St Pancras and the Eurostar to Gare du Nord in about two and a quarter hours. The afternoon on the Seine and the Île de la Cité, and the river cruise in the evening. Overnight in Paris.
The Eiffel Tower with pre-booked tickets and the Trocadéro, then a guided route through the Louvre in the afternoon. Overnight in Paris.

South through the Lötschberg and Simplon tunnels to Milan and on by fast train to Venice, arriving along the Grand Canal by water. St Mark's Square at dusk. Overnight in Venice.
