The Old World

No single trip can hold Europe

From the café terraces of Paris and the canals of Venice to the black-sand coasts of Iceland and the whitewashed isles of Greece, Europe offers a lifetime of journeys within a few hours' flight of one another.

For Indian travellers it is the perfect first continent and an endlessly returnable one — walkable old towns, fast trains between countries, world-class food and art, and a season for every kind of trip. We plan it the way it deserves: unhurried, well-guided, and shaped around how you want to feel.

Europe travel FAQs

Yes. Most of Europe belongs to the Schengen Area, which shares a single visa. Indian passport holders apply for a Schengen visa through the country where they will spend the most time — apply well in advance, especially in summer. Non-Schengen countries such as the UK have their own visas. See our visa guides for the current process.
Spring (April–June) and autumn (September–October) are ideal — pleasant weather, beautiful light and fewer crowds. Summer is warm and festive but busy; winter brings Christmas markets, Alpine skiing and the northern lights.
Plan seven to ten days for a first visit, covering two or three neighbouring countries or regions — enough to feel each place without rushing. Fast trains and short flights make multi-country journeys easy. If you want a slower pace, add days rather than destinations.
It depends on the countries, season, style and duration. Europe suits every level, from comfortable well-planned trips to fully bespoke luxury. Our designers build the itinerary to your budget — see our budget guide.
Mostly by train. Europe has one of the world’s best rail networks, and short flights connect the further corners. We arrange rail passes, private transfers and guided days as your journey needs.
Yes — it is one of the easiest long-haul destinations to travel with children. Short train hops between cities, parks and hands-on museums in most capitals, and dependable food and medical care mean far less friction than first-time families expect. We build in slower days and choose hotels with family rooms where it matters.
Yes, with the right pacing. Trains, lifts and compact city centres make Europe one of the more accessible continents — though many historic old towns have cobbles and stairs. We plan fewer cities over more days, choose centrally located hotels to cut walking, and arrange private transfers and step-free options. Tell us about mobility needs and we design around them.
It depends on the mood you want. The Greek islands and the Amalfi Coast suit sun, sea and long dinners; Paris and Venice suit classic romance; Iceland and the Alps suit couples who want drama and quiet. Many honeymooners pair one city with one coast or island.
Easily. Every major European city has Indian restaurants, and vegetarian menus are now standard across the continent — Italy and Greece are especially vegetarian-friendly by tradition. Tell your designer about dietary needs, including Jain or no onion-garlic, and we brief hotels and guides in advance.
Europe is generally very safe, with excellent healthcare and reliable public transport. The most common issue is petty theft — pickpocketing in crowded tourist spots and stations — which ordinary care prevents. We share city-specific guidance before you travel, and our team is on call throughout your journey.
