livetraveller.in publishes destination guides, travel intelligence, itinerary ideas and journey information for travellers planning international and domestic travel from India.

It is written to help you decide where to go and how to plan. It is general information, not advice tailored to your circumstances. Your own journey is designed with a specialist, and the details confirmed to you as part of that process take precedence over anything published here.

Travel information changes

We research our destination content carefully and correct it when we learn something has changed. But travel information dates faster than almost any other kind.

Entry requirements, visa rules, opening hours, transport schedules, seasonal conditions, safety guidance and prices all change — sometimes at short notice and often without public announcement. Content that was accurate when written may not be accurate when you read it.

Before you travel, verify anything that matters to your plans with an official source. For entry and visa requirements, that means the relevant embassy, consulate or immigration authority. For safety guidance, your government's travel advisory. For opening times and operating conditions, the operator itself.

Where the exact property matters — the room category, the view, the vessel, the camp — your quotation and booking confirmation identify precisely what has been booked. Those documents, not the photograph, define what you are buying.

Itineraries and sample journeys

Journeys shown on this site are illustrations of what is possible. They are starting points for a conversation, not fixed products.

Any journey we design for you is priced and confirmed on its own terms, and may differ from a published example in routing, inclusions, accommodation or duration. What you are booking is what appears in your quotation and booking confirmation.

Health, safety and personal circumstances

Guidance we publish about health, vaccinations, altitude, insurance, safety or accessibility is general and cannot account for your personal circumstances. The photograph does not match what I was booked. Which one is right?

Your quotation and booking confirmation define what you have booked. Some images are library photography representing a destination or experience rather than the exact room, vehicle or departure. Where the specific property matters, the booking documents are definitive.
