Day-by-day itinerary
You are met at Adelaide Airport and driven to your hotel. The rest of the day is free. Adelaide is laid out on a grid ringed by parkland, which makes it one of the easier Australian cities to walk on a first evening. Nothing is scheduled, so you can settle in before the touring begins. · Adelaide
A guided tour of Adelaide taking in the city's principal sights. Adelaide is compact and deliberately planned, so a single touring day covers the centre properly rather than skimming it. You return to your hotel afterwards. · Adelaide
A full day out to the Barossa, South Australia's best-known wine region, paired with Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills — a town settled by German migrants in the nineteenth century and still visibly shaped by it. Lunch is provided as part of this excursion. · Adelaide
You travel from Adelaide to Kangaroo Island and spend the day there, staying overnight on the island rather than returning to the mainland. Breakfast at the hotel, then check out and a transfer to Adelaide Airport for your onward flight. Adelaide Airport is close to the city, so the drive is a short one. Your onward flight is not part of this package, so allow the check-in time your airline requires. If your flight leaves later in the day, ask the hotel about storing luggage after check-out.
