Day by day

Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1

Port BlairPrivate vehicle

You are met at Veer Savarkar airport and driven to your hotel. The evening goes to the Cellular Jail, the radial prison built between 1896 and 1906, where three of the original seven wings survive as a national memorial, followed by the sound-and-light show in its courtyard. The car drops you at the parking area and the last 200 metres are on foot. The show runs between 6 and 7 pm and seats are subject to availability on the day; the gap between the jail visit and the show is a good time to walk the lit seafront at Marina Park.

Day 2

Port Blair – Havelock Island – Port BlairOvernight Port BlairFerry and private vehicle

A car takes you to the jetty for the morning ferry to Havelock. You are met there and driven across the island to Radhanagar, the long west-coast beach that holds a Blue Flag certification, for a swim and the last light. Bring a change of clothes and a towel: the vehicles do not carry passengers in wet clothes. The return ferry sets the length of the day: you go back to the jetty in time for the sailing, and a car meets you in Port Blair.

Day 3

Port BlairShared boat

After breakfast a car takes you to the jetty for a shared boat across the harbour. Ross Island comes first: the ruins of the British settlement, later occupied by the Japanese, now held together and pulled apart by tree roots. North Bay follows, the reef side of the harbour and the base for its water sports, which are optional and paid on the spot. A local-style lunch at North Bay is included.

Day 4

Port BlairPrivate vehicle

After breakfast a car takes you to the airport. Port Blair's airport is small and busy, so plan to be there at least two hours before your flight.

Good to know

Frequently asked

As much as the two ferries allow. The day is built around Radhanagar Beach, and the return sailing decides when you leave it, so there is no time for Elephant Beach or a dive. If you want either, choose a route with a night on Havelock.
Because it saves two hotel changes. Everything in this trip can be reached from the town and back in a day, which suits a short stay and anyone who would rather not pack every morning.
No. The boat, the visit to Ross Island and lunch at North Bay are included. Scuba diving, snorkelling, parasailing, glass-bottom boat rides and the rest are run by local operators at North Bay, are optional, and are paid on the spot.
Sailings are called off for sea conditions from time to time, and nobody who sells the trip controls that, so the costs that follow are excluded. We rebook you on the next available sailing. Ferry tickets are in the base category of a private operator and are issued once your booking is confirmed, subject to availability.
We quote two hotel standards, Deluxe and Premium, and confirm the actual hotels with your quote rather than naming them here. Most hotels in the Andamans work to an early check-in and check-out, typically between 8:30 and 10:30 in the morning; an earlier check-in or a later check-out depends on availability and is the hotel's decision.
Starting prices are from ₹18,706 per person in Deluxe hotels and from ₹22,990 per person in Premium hotels. Prices shown are indicative starting prices per person on double sharing basis. Final package prices depend on your travel dates, availability and applicable rates at the time of booking. Contact us for a personalised quotation. Seasonal pricing note: These indicative starting prices apply to travel from 1 October to 14 December 2026 and from 20 January to 31 March 2027. These rates are not valid for travel from 15 December 2026 through 19 January 2027. Travel during this period must be quoted separately based on your dates, availability and applicable supplier rates. Prices are per person on double sharing basis. Flights are not included.
