Day-by-day itinerary
Our representative meets you at Cairo International Airport with a name board. Once you are through the visa formalities and have your luggage, you are driven to your hotel to check in. No meals are included today.
After breakfast you check out, and your guide takes you to the Giza plateau and its three pyramids, built for Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus, with a stop at the panorama point where all three line up, and then the Sphinx. After lunch you stop at a papyrus institute and a perfume workshop, where the way each was made in ancient Egypt is demonstrated, then walk through Khan el-Khalili, the old open-air market. From there you set off by road for Sharm el-Sheikh, a journey of about seven hours, so you reach the resort late in the evening. This is the longest day of the trip. Meals included today: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
After breakfast at the resort you go out on a glass-bottomed boat, which lets you see the Red Sea reef and its fish from inside the hull without getting wet. Later in the day there is a quad-bike (ATV) safari in the desert behind the town, which ends with dinner. Meals included today: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
After breakfast you are taken to the boat for a day at Ras Mohamed, the national park at the southern tip of Sinai; lunch is served on the trip. In the evening there is a tour of Sharm el-Sheikh itself: the Heavenly Cathedral, the Old Market, the Al Sahaba Mosque and a viewpoint over the town. Meals included today: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
After an early breakfast you check out and drive back to Cairo, again about seven hours, and check in at your hotel for the night. Meals included today: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
After breakfast you check out and our representative takes you to Cairo International Airport, where the package services end. Meals included today: breakfast.
