Day-by-day itinerary
Our representative meets you at Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport with a name board and you are driven to your resort to check in. Dinner is at the resort. Meals included today: dinner.
After breakfast at the resort you go out on a glass-bottomed boat, which lets you see the Red Sea reef and its fish from inside the hull without getting wet. Later in the day there is a quad-bike (ATV) safari in the desert behind the town, which ends with dinner. Meals included today: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
After breakfast you are taken to the boat for a day at Ras Mohamed, the national park at the southern tip of Sinai; lunch is served on the trip. In the evening there is a tour of Sharm el-Sheikh itself: the Heavenly Cathedral, the Old Market, the Al Sahaba Mosque and a viewpoint over the town. Meals included today: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
After an early breakfast you check out and drive to Cairo, a journey of about seven hours, and check in at your hotel. In the evening you are taken to a dinner cruise, with a belly-dance show and a folkloric tanoura show on board, and brought back to the hotel afterwards. Meals included today: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
After breakfast you check out, and your guide takes you to the Giza plateau and its three pyramids, built for Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus, with a stop at the panorama point where all three line up, and then the Sphinx. After lunch you stop at a papyrus institute and a perfume workshop, where the way each was made in ancient Egypt is demonstrated. The tour continues in Old Cairo with the Hanging Church, the Coptic quarter and the walls of the Roman fortress of Babylon, and ends with a walk through Khan el-Khalili, the old open-air market. You are then driven to Cairo International Airport, where the package services end; book a late-evening flight. Meals included today: breakfast and lunch.
