Day-by-day itinerary
You arrive at Haneda and connect onward to Hiroshima, where you are met and driven to your hotel on a private basis. The domestic sector is not included. The rest of the day is free. · Hiroshima
A full day on a shared basis covering Hiroshima and Miyajima island, running as a round trip from the city. Miyajima's shrine and its torii gate stand out over the water at high tide. Note that no lunch is provided on this particular day. · Hiroshima
You travel east to Osaka by Shinkansen, with the ticket and the transfers at both ends included. The rest of the day is free once you reach your hotel. · Osaka
A full day out from Osaka on a shared basis, with a Western-style lunch provided. Kyoto held the imperial court for over a thousand years; Nara is older still, and its deer move freely through the park around Todai-ji. · Osaka
You travel on to Tokyo by Shinkansen, ticket and transfers included. The rest of the day is free — after a week working east, Tokyo is a considerable change of scale. · Tokyo
A full day southwest on a shared basis, with lunch, running as a round trip by coach from central Tokyo and taking in the Mount Fuji area and the Hakone caldera. · Tokyo
A full-day panoramic coach tour of Tokyo on a shared basis, with lunch provided. A good closing day — it puts the districts in order after a week spent elsewhere. · Tokyo
Breakfast at the hotel, then check out and a private transfer to the airport for your onward flight. Your onward flight is not part of this package, so allow the check-in time your airline requires.
