- Two nights at Jawai, where leopards live among granite hills.

- Ranakpur's marble Jain temple and the long walls of Kumbhalgarh.
- Three nights at Udaipur on the lakes.

Day-by-day itinerary
You are met at Udaipur airport and driven to your hotel. Udaipur is built around a chain of artificial lakes with the Aravalli hills behind, which makes it the greenest of the Rajasthan cities. The rest of the day is free. · Udaipur
You travel north from the lakes into the granite hill country around Jawai, where great rounded boulders rise out of scrub and farmland. Leopards live in these rocks alongside the villages, which is uncommon anywhere. You check in and the rest of the day is free. · Jawai
A day in the Jawai hills. The leopards here are not confined to a reserve and the land is shared with herders and their livestock, which makes the relationship between the two the real interest of the place. Any wildlife drive is arranged locally at your own cost. · Jawai
You travel by way of Ranakpur, where the Jain temple stands in a valley on more than a thousand carved marble pillars, and Kumbhalgarh, whose perimeter wall runs some 36 kilometres around the fort. You continue to Udaipur for the night. · Udaipur
A day in Udaipur. The City Palace runs along the shore of Lake Pichola and is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan, built up by successive rulers over four centuries. Jagdish temple, the Saheliyon ki Bari garden and the old lanes around the lake complete the day. · Udaipur
After breakfast you check out and are driven to Udaipur airport for your onward flight. Your onward flight is not part of this package, so allow the check-in time your airline requires.
