Mussoorie, Rishikesh & Corbett — A Four-Night Loop from Delhi

The car collects you at New Delhi railway station and heads north across the plains, then up through the Doon valley to Mussoorie on its ridge. Most of the day is the drive, and nothing further is planned. Dinner is at the hotel, and the town’s sights are kept for tomorrow.

Mussoorie’s sights are spread along its ridge and the car links them through the day: Gun Hill, the town’s best-known viewpoint; Christ Church, among the oldest in the Himalaya; and Lal Tibba at the Landour end. In between come Mussoorie Lake, the Tibetan Buddhist Temple in Happy Valley and two waterfalls, Jharipani and Mossy Falls. The ropeway up Gun Hill is optional and the ticket is bought on the spot.

After breakfast the car descends from the ridge and crosses to Rishikesh, the town where the Ganga comes out of the Himalaya. No sightseeing is scheduled on this itinerary, so once you have checked in the afternoon and evening are free for the riverbank at your own pace. Dinner is at the hotel.

A transfer day along the foot of the hills from the Ganga to the forests around Jim Corbett National Park. Nothing is scheduled on arrival. A jungle safari is not part of this package; if you want one for the late afternoon or the next dawn, it has to be arranged and paid for in advance, so tell us when booking.

The last day is the drive back to Delhi after breakfast, ending with a drop at the airport or at New Delhi railway station. Because the whole journey is by road, please choose an evening departure. We confirm a safe timing with you before you book onward travel.
