A private day with your guide and driver. The morning is given to the Khmer Rouge years: the memorial at Choeung Ek, the killing field 15 kilometres south-west of the city, and the Tuol Sleng Museum, the former school that became the S-21 prison. If time allows there is a quick stop at the Russian Market. The afternoon covers the Royal Palace, the residence of the King of Cambodia; the National Museum, with one of the great collections of Khmer sculpture, ceramics and bronzes; and Wat Phnom, the hilltop temple that gives the city its name, where local people come to pray and watch the sunset. You stay overnight in Phnom Penh. Meals included today: breakfast.
After breakfast and check-out the time is your own until a driver takes you to Phnom Penh airport for your flight home. The package services end at the airport. Meals included today: breakfast.
