Uluru in Two Nights — The Red Centre Short Break
Uluru is not near anything. That is part of what makes it worth going to, and it is also why a short, well-shaped stay works better than an extended one — two nights is enough to see the rock at sunrise, spend an evening in the desert, and move on.

Journey highlights
The moments that make this journey unforgettable — the signature experiences we have woven through every day, so the best of the destination is never left to chance.
- Sunrise at Uluru from a dedicated viewing area.
- A segway tour around the base of the rock.
- The field of light installation across the desert floor after dark.
- An outdoor dining experience under the outback night sky.
- A short two-night break that fits inside a longer Australian itinerary.
Day-by-day itinerary
You arrive at Ayers Rock Airport and transfer to your accommodation. The rest of the day is free to adjust — the desert is hot and bright, and arriving slowly is sensible. Your first included experience falls after dark, when the temperature drops and the sky opens up. · Uluru
An early start for sunrise at the Uluru viewing area, when the rock changes colour as the light comes up — the reason most people come at all. A segway tour follows around the base, which covers more ground than walking without losing the scale of it. After dark, the field of light — a large-scale installation of solar-powered stems set across the desert floor — and dining outdoors under the night sky. · Uluru
Breakfast, then check out and a transfer to Ayers Rock Airport for your onward flight. The airport is a short run from the resort area. Your onward flight is not part of this package, so allow the check-in time your airline requires. Flights out of Uluru are limited, so confirm your timing carefully.
