Day-by-day itinerary
You arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport and are driven by private vehicle into the Titiwangsa Mountains to Genting Highlands, a hill resort well above the heat of the plains. A return ride on the cable car is included, with views over the forested slopes. Standard check-in is from 2 pm. The evening is free to explore the resort, its shops and its indoor attractions.
After breakfast the morning is free at the resort until check-out. A private vehicle then takes you down from the hills to your hotel in Kuala Lumpur. The rest of the day is free, with no tour booked.
A shared half-day tour introduces Kuala Lumpur. The tour makes photo stops at the Petronas Twin Towers, the King's Palace, the National Monument, KL Tower and Independence Square, and drives past the old railway station and the National Mosque. The afternoon and evening are free. It is your last night in Kuala Lumpur.
Breakfast at the hotel, then check-out by noon. A private vehicle takes you to Kuala Lumpur International Airport for your flight. Allow extra time on the road at peak hours.
