Day-by-day itinerary
Met at the airport and driven into the city. The first evening is a walk along the Liffey to Temple Bar and dinner with music somewhere nearby. Overnight in Dublin.
A guided walk through the Georgian city — Trinity College and the Book of Kells, the castle, St Patrick's Cathedral — and the Guinness Storehouse in the afternoon with the view from the Gravity Bar. Overnight in Dublin.
South into the Wicklow hills to the monastic valley of Glendalough, with its round tower and two lakes, and the Sally Gap road across the moorland on the way back. Overnight in Dublin.
West across the country to the Atlantic: the Cliffs of Moher and the walk along their edge, the limestone pavements of the Burren, and an hour in Galway's lanes before the drive back. A long day, and the one most travellers talk about afterwards. Overnight in Dublin.
Two hours north along the coast to Belfast. Titanic Belfast in the afternoon, on the slipway where the ship was built, and the Cathedral Quarter for the evening. Overnight in Belfast.
North along the Antrim coast to the basalt columns of the Giant's Causeway, with the rope bridge at Carrick-a-Rede and the Dark Hedges on the way. Back to Belfast for a last dinner. Overnight in Belfast.
The morning train back to Dublin and a private transfer to the airport for your flight home.
