Met at Heathrow and driven into the city. A gentle first afternoon on the South Bank and Westminster Bridge at dusk. Overnight in London.
The Tower of London at opening for the Crown Jewels, the river boat to Westminster, and a guided walk of the Abbey's surroundings, Whitehall and Buckingham Palace. Overnight in London.
A full day west: Windsor Castle, the stone circle at Stonehenge and the Georgian crescents and Roman baths of Bath. Overnight in London.
North from King's Cross up the east coast into Edinburgh Waverley beneath the castle. The Royal Mile from the castle to Holyrood in the afternoon. Overnight in Edinburgh.
A full day into the Highlands: Stirling, Rannoch Moor and Glencoe, Fort William, and Loch Ness along the Great Glen, returning through the Cairngorms. Edinburgh Castle the next morning if you would rather split the day. Overnight in Edinburgh.
Edinburgh Castle at opening and a guided Old Town walk, then the short flight to Belfast in the afternoon and the Cathedral Quarter for the evening. Overnight in Belfast.
