Day-by-day itinerary
You are met at Ivalo airport and driven to your Saariselkä hotel in a private vehicle. In the evening you go out on a northern lights chase combined with reindeer sledding. The aurora is a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed on any given night. · Saariselkä
A snowmobiling experience across the winter landscape, which covers ground that is simply not reachable otherwise once the snow is down. The night is spent in a glass igloo — a room with a transparent roof, so the sky is visible from the bed. · Glass igloo
You are transferred by car on a private basis from Saariselkä south to Rovaniemi, a long drive through forest and open country. In the evening there is a second northern lights chase by minivan, which moves to find the clearest sky. · Rovaniemi
A visit to Santa's Village, which straddles the Arctic Circle line just outside Rovaniemi. The line is marked across the ground and the village is built around it — it is the one place in Lapland that is exactly what visitors expect it to be. · Rovaniemi
