Seychelles Island Hopping: Two Nights Each on Praslin, La Digue and Mahé, 6 Nights

You are met at the airport on Mahé and driven to the Victoria jetty for the fast ferry to Praslin, around an hour at sea, then to your hotel. The connection needs a flight that lands in time for an afternoon sailing; if yours does not, we plan a Mahé night or a short flight and confirm it in advance.

A day at sea around Praslin. On Cousin Island, a bird reserve, wardens guide you among nesting noddies, fairy terns and magpie robins. On Curieuse, giant tortoises roam near the ranger station, and lunch is a Creole spread under the trees. The day finishes with snorkelling around the granite islet of St Pierre.

A short ferry to La Digue and a bicycle waiting at the jetty. The afternoon is yours to explore: ride along the west coast, stop for fresh juice at a roadside stall, or head to Grand Anse on the south-east coast, a wild beach where swimming should be treated with care when the waves are up.

A guided morning that combines the bicycle and the sea. You paddle a clear-bottomed kayak along Anse Source d’Argent, looking down on fish and coral, explore small caves in the granite, walk to a secluded cove and swim in a natural rock pool. The rest of the day is free.

After breakfast you take the ferry to Mahé and are met at the jetty in Victoria for the drive to your hotel. The afternoon is free. Walk the Morne Seychellois trails for forest views, browse the capital’s market, or simply spend the time on one of Mahé’s many beaches.

A final day on the water in the marine park just off Victoria. The glass-bottom boat shows you the reef on the way out; then you snorkel and feed fish around Moyenne Island or nearby. Lunch is a Creole barbecue on the beach, with time to swim and see the tortoises before returning.

Breakfast at the hotel and a last look at the sea before your transfer to the airport. For evening departures, ask us about a late check-out; alternatively, a stop at a viewpoint or at a craft shop on the way can fill the last hours of the trip.
