Day-by-day itinerary
You are met on arrival by a representative and transferred to your hotel on a private basis. The old quarter beneath the Acropolis is walkable from most central hotels and is the best place to spend a first evening. The rest of the day is free. · Athens
A half-day guided tour of Athens on a shared seat-in-coach basis, taking in the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. The museum was built to hold what came down off the rock, which is why the two belong together. The rest of the day is free. · Athens
A full-day cruise through the Saronic islands, the group closest to Athens, with lunch provided on board as part of the tour. It is a long day on the water with stops, and it gives you the Greek coast without committing the trip to island-hopping. · Athens
A private transfer takes you from your hotel to Athens airport for the flight north, and a private transfer meets you at Thessaloniki. Airfare on the domestic sector is not included.
