Day-by-day itinerary
You are met at Adelaide Airport and driven to your hotel. The rest of the day is free. Adelaide is laid out on a grid ringed by parkland, which makes it an easy city to walk on a first evening. Nothing is scheduled, so you can settle in at your own pace. · Adelaide
No touring is scheduled today. The day is entirely yours, and nothing in this package commits you to a plan for it. It is a useful buffer after a long flight, or time to see Adelaide the way you want to. If you would rather fill it, optional activities can be arranged locally at your own cost. · Adelaide
A guided tour of Adelaide taking in the city's principal sights. Adelaide is compact and deliberately planned, so a single touring day covers the centre properly rather than skimming it. You return to your hotel afterwards. · Adelaide
A full-day excursion from Adelaide to Kangaroo Island, travelling by cruise in each direction and returning to the city the same evening. Kangaroo Island lies off the South Australian coast and is the reason many travellers come to this part of the country at all. Lunch is provided as part of the day. You are back at your Adelaide hotel that night. · Adelaide
Breakfast at the hotel, then check out and a transfer to Adelaide Airport for your onward flight. Adelaide Airport is close to the city, so the drive is a short one. Your onward flight is not part of this package, so allow the check-in time your airline requires. If your flight leaves later in the day, ask the hotel about storing luggage after check-out.
